Avraham Chazin at the Art Chazin gallery with Jewish art

Art Chazin was founded in Jerusalem in 2000 by artist and designer Rabbi Avraham Chazin, who comes from a family of artists and painters.

Today, the company is a leader in original Jewish art on parchment, including Passover Haggadot, ketubot, Megillot Esther, oil paintings, and more. Its works have earned recognition among major Judaica collectors, appeared in international exhibitions, and been selected for their beauty, precision, and high artistic standard.

The most ambitious project produced by “Art Chazin” is undoubtedly the monumental “The Illumibated Torah”, which graces the homes of Judaica collectors worldwide, prime ministers and Jewish senators. “The Illumibated Torah” is currently displayed in museums in the United States and at the White House. In Israel, it can be viewed at Aish HaTorah near the Western Wall. All the artwork in Exodus and most of the artwork in Genesis was painted and produced by “Art Chazin,” under the direction of artist Avraham Chazin.

The company employs 17 carefully selected artists, trained by Avraham Chazin over several years to produce meticulous, high-quality hand-painted works. These talented artists work under his close guidance. Before each scene is painted, Chazin prepares a sketch on which the work is based. He guides every detail: each figure, movement, and color palette. This process enables the creation of finished works of exceptional beauty on an international scale.

Until 2012, Art Chazin operated a prestigious gallery in Jerusalem’s King David area, displaying works for collectors. Extensive construction and renovation in the area, together with the global economic situation, led the company to temporarily close the gallery.

In 2020, the company’s CEO decided to focus also on designing accessories for Torah scrolls. Since then, our wonderful creations have adorned Torah scrolls throughout the world. Our creations are continually renewed, bringing beauty and splendor to the world of Torah scrolls and sacred art, in honor of the Torah.
